A young man was gunned down outside a residential building in the Bronx on Monday evening, according to authorities.
The 21-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his head outside of a building on East 187th Street between Webster and Park Avenues just before 7 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene and brought the unidentified man to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.
Blood and a fallen baseball hat were still visible on the sidewalk as police swarmed the scene on Monday night.

Investigators were also seen in photos closely examining and photographing the evidence.
There are no arrests in connection with the fatal shooting, and an investigation remains ongoing.
