Ayisha Elizabeth, wife of late Malayalam scriptwriter John Paul, passes away in Kochi

Ayisha Elizabeth John (75), wife of the late renowned Malayalam scriptwriter John Paul, passed away in Kochi on Saturday (June 27, 2026).

She was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi on June 25, 2026 after sustaining a head injury in an accident while out for a walk. She passed away at 8.50 a.m. on Saturday.

The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday (June 28, 2026) at St. Mary’s Sunora Church, Elamkulam. Her mortal remains will be kept at her residence in Maradu for public viewing from 10 a.m. on Sunday.

She is survived by her daughter, Jisha John, son-in-law, Jibi N. Abraham, and granddaughter, Jia N. Jibi.
