Clear CEO found her American dream on Wall Street

Through July 4, The Post, in conjunction with the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, is featuring US citizens explaining what the American dream means to them in 2026 — including Caryn Seidman Becker, the Chair and CEO of Clear.

My dad’s parents were from Eastern Europe. They came from nothing, and my grandfather came here when he was 17, [traveling] at the bottom of a boat for weeks. He was actually saved by HIAs, the Hebrew Immigration Aids Society. Didn’t speak the language but started with a hardware store, and that changed the trajectory of our family.

Growing up, “books were my opportunity to see the world,” said Caryn Seidman Becker, the CEO and Chair of Clear. Emmy Park for NY Post

[Growing up in Potomac, Maryland,] the dinner table was for conversation on politics or what was on the cover of the paper, what Tom Brokaw was talking about that night on NBC News. We didn’t have a lot of money, so we didn’t travel a lot. Books were my opportunity to see the world. It was a household that was about education, that was about learning, that was about being your best, that was about religion and spirituality. And so I think all those things helped drive me …

I grew up in a house where girls were treated the same as boys. So that meant [my sister and I] mowed the lawn and we cleaned the gutters and we raked the leaves and we helped with dishes after dinner. We were brought up to be resilient and gritty and also very driven.

Resilient and gritty are key ingredients for Wall Street. And obsessive curiosity.

“One of the great days for me in business was going public on the New York Stock Exchange because it is such a historic place and it is where capitalism comes to life,” Seidman Becker said. Getty Images for Haddad Media

I went to the University of Michigan. I thought I wanted to be a sports reporter … and then thought I wanted to go to law school. But I ultimately went to Wall Street.

[Now, with Clear,] a lot of people ask me if it’s difficult to be a public company. One of the great days for me in business was going public on the New York Stock Exchange because it is such a historic place and it is where capitalism comes to life …

I believe in the public markets. I think it creates great optionality for companies because you have cash and you have your stock, which can be currency appropriately valued. I love being the CEO of a public company and I appreciate shareholders — I think you can learn a lot from them.

Kate Middleton, Prince William join King Charles for Trooping the Colour

Kate Middleton and Prince William cut a regal figure at Trooping the Colour 2026 on Saturday, alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Middleton looked elegant in a powder-blue Catherine Walker dress paired with a matching wide-brimmed Philip Treacy hat, bringing a sophisticated touch to the royal procession at Buckingham Palace marking the monarch’s birthday.

She completed her look with Cassandra Goad pearl floral burst earrings, a pair she wore earlier this year at the installation of the new Archbishop of Canterbury and first debuted in 2018 during the christening of her youngest son, Prince Louis, Town and Country reported.

King Charles and Queen Camilla rode in a horse-drawn carriage in matching red ceremonial attire, with Charles wearing a medal-adorned military uniform and Camilla a red coatdress and feathered navy hat.

Prince William, Prince Edward and Princess Anne all rode on horseback behind the king’s carriage, taking part in the traditional royal procession through central London.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — who have famously fallen out with the family and quit their duties as working royal family members in 2020 — were again absent from the event, opting to stay home in Southern California.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal title last year, also did not attend.

Prince Harry and Markle last attended the event at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, though they watched the military parade from a balcony with other non-working royals rather than participate in the carriage procession or appear on the balcony.

Following their exit from the royal family and move to Montecito, California, the couple expanded their family to include Princess Lilibet, now 5, along with Prince Archie, now 7.

Despite shaky relations with the royal family, Prince Harry — who recently celebrated his eight anniversary with Markle — hopes to bring his wife and children to England within weeks, where he’s promoting his 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

A source told Page Six that he will not, however, see Prince William amid the ongoing rift.

The Prince and Princess of Wales looked equally chic at last year’s event, with Middleton, 44, wearing a sharply tailored aquamarine blue look alongside Princess Charlotte’s similarly colored flutter sleeve dress.

Prince Louis and Prince George joined the traditional festivities in dark colored suits and red ties, while Prince William, 43, donned a red jacket with royal regalia — nearly identical to his father’s red coat.

Queen Camilla, meanwhile, opted for a white look with a matching white fascinator.

Middleton was seen riding in a royal carriage with her three children at the summer event, at one point sharing a laugh with them.

Middleton’s appearance at last year’s Trooping the Colour came several months after she announced she’s in remission after her cancer diagnosis, which she divulged in 2024.

Trooping the Colour marks the birthday of King Charles III — though his birthdate is actually Nov. 14 — and is celebrated for its iconic Buckingham Palace balcony appearance from royal family members.

Middleton and Prince William’s appearance at Trooping the Colour comes after the couple came face-to-face with her ex Rupert Finch at a family wedding last weekend.

The exes, along with their respective spouses, both attended the nuptials of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling in the Cotswolds.

Prince William is cousins with Phillips.

King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and Phillips’ sister Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall attended the church wedding, as well.

Middleton and Finch — who has since married Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs — dated briefly back in 2001, when both were attending St. Andrews.

Middleton famously went on to date Prince William — after she famously caught his eye at a 2002 fashion show — before marrying him in 2011.

I can’t hear you over these early Prime Day headphone deals

The only thing better than Prime Day deals? Early Prime Day deals?

This year, Amazon’s four-day sales extravaganza begins on June 23 and ends on June 26, but Amazon Prime members can start shopping deals right now, including these great deals on headphones.

best early prime day headphone deals

As a headphone tester, I’ve cycled through more pairs than I can count over the past two years, which means I keep a close eye on when prices actually drop — not just when they’re marketed to. And right now, some of the best models are still lingering at sale-level prices.

These headphone deals range from pairs I’ve personally tested to ones our team swears by. If I’ve used it and it’s still discounted, you’ll find it below — along with my unfiltered take on what’s actually worth your money.

AirPods Pro 3 deliver world-class active noise cancellation, which improves upon the already great feature included with the AirPods Pro 2. It also has smarter features, like live translation using Apple Intelligence, heart rate sensors, and the ability to use the earbuds as a clinical-grade hearing aid. Right now, you can score a pair at its lowest price ever ahead of Prime Day.

airpods max 2
Michelle Moezam

The AirPods Pro Max 2 are the latest edition of Apple’s over-ear model to be turning heads. These look great, and the high-fidelity audio and spatial head-tracking genuinely make it sound like you’re sitting in a private movie theater. The memory foam cushions are wildly comfortable, making them perfect for long-haul flights or ignoring the world at your desk.

beats studio pro
Angela Tricarico

The Beats Studio Pro headphones deliver exceptional sound quality and adaptive noise cancellation for an immersive Dolby Atmos audio experience. With over a year of headphone testing experience and more than a handful of pairs in my arsenal, this is the one I come back to again and again. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day, with great, long-lasting battery life and advanced features for audiophiles.

I’m not the only Beats fan here at Post Wanted. Reporter Miska Salemann also loves these, saying, “I’ve never splurged on headphones before (I used to be an old-fashioned wired-headphones person), but eventually I gave in and got a pair of Beats. The sound is so immersive — so much better than my old, dangly headphones — it feels like I’m hearing the music live.”

bose quietcomfort ultra
Michelle Moezam, Amazon

These are another tried and tested Post Wanted fave. The Bose QuietComfort Over-Ear Ultra Bluetooth Headphones offer superior noise cancellation, delivering an incredibly immersive listening experience even in the noisiest environments. With plush ear cushions and an adjustable headband, they provide all-day comfort by being one of the more lightweight over-ear options on the market today.

Beats Solo 4
Angela Tricarico

Beats Solo 4 headphones combine premium sound quality with a sleek, stylish design that’s smaller than the Beats Studio Pro, while delivering the same rich bass and clear audio you’d expect from Beats for an enhanced listening experience. I’ve tested these too, and they’re an excellent choice, especially if you have a smaller head.

sonos ace
Angela Tricarico

Just as Sonos perfected home audio with soundbars and subwoofers, they have perfected headphones with Dolby Audio and more built right in. I’ve been using these since the week they hit the market, and they’ve held up so well in the two years. The battery lasts me almost all week and the active noise cancellation is unmatched. Read our full review for more on this pair, which is absolutely worth the splurge.

Angela Tricarico

This Post Wanted-approved pair of Soundcore earbuds is 38% off right now. These are the real deal, offering optimized noise cancellation — that actually works — and highly customizable sound with pre-set and custom EQ settings and 3D surround sound. Don’t believe me? With over 20,000 reviews on Amazon, these headphones have an average 4.4 out of 5 rating, with one satisfied customer proclaiming that they’re the “best discovery on Amazon.”

bose open headphones
Victoria McDonnell, Amazon

A slightly unique pair of headphones, these combine the Bose sound you know and love with an open design that allows for outside noises to be filtered in. They’re perfect for walking around NYC, where safety is key but outside noises can still be overwhelming. They’re also loved by Post Wanted editors and Oprah alike.

Disney World in Florida removes more than 400 alligators since toddler’s 2016 death

As summer is almost here, millions of Americans look for a magical vacation at Walt Disney World, as officials step up safety, continuing to remove hundreds of alligators from the area.

After a child was killed by an alligator at the Disney Resort and Spa in Orlando, Florida 10 years ago, officials from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) have removed over 400 gators from the property.

According to WDW News Today, the worldwide leader in Disney Park news, 414 alligators have been removed in the 10 years since the attack.

Alligators longer than 4 feet and believed to pose a threat to people, pet or property qualify for removal by FWC trappers to resolve the situation.

Typically, smaller alligators are not large enough to be dangerous to people or pets, unless handled, which is never advised, as bites can result in serious injury or infection, on top of being illegal, according to the FWC.

More than 400 alligators have been removed from Walt Disney World in Florida since the death of Lane Graves in 2016. ZUMAPRESS.com

Trappers do not relocate alligators because they often try to return to the location where they were captured.

In addition to removing a plethora of gators, officials at Disney have also constructed barriers and other precautions to keep alligators from getting too close to guests.

Two-year-old Lane Graves was killed by an alligator at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in June 2016. REUTERS

Some safety features include fencing, boulder walls and warning signs on the property near the water.

The remote areas to which they would be relocated already host healthy alligator populations and established social structures.

Introducing new alligators would disrupt the order and lead to fighting between the resident gators and the newcomers.

A sign posted on a beach outside a hotel at a Walt Disney World resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. AP

Thankfully, Florida has a healthy, stable population of these creatures, totaling about 1.3 million across all 67 counties.

The removal of these nuisance alligators does not have a significant impact on the species whatsoever.

Thankfully, officials with the FWC continue to work closely with Disney to ensure the safest conditions and prevent an avoidable tragedy.

How ‘Sesame Street’ CEO Sherrie Westin saved lives during Afghanistan withdrawl

You can count on her.

Page Six has learned that a media CEO worked 48 hours straight to rescue a busful of “Sesame Street” cast and crew who were stranded in Kabul when the US pulled out of Afghanistan in 2021.

Exec Sherrie Westin was credited with singlehandedly saving her team’s lives in the feat, later dubbed “Operation Big Bird,” it has been revealed.

Sherrie Westin speaks at the Literacy Partners 40th Annual Gala at Pier Sixty in NYC on June 8, 2026. Madeleine Thomas/BFA.com/Shutterstock

An Afghan version of the show, “Baghch-e-Simsim,” had been airing in the nation since 2011, and had become a massive hit with the Afghan people — so much so that it is said that the production had become a target for the Taliban, which despised it because it was teaching young girls to read.

One of its editors was killed in a suicide bombing targeting media in 2016.

We’re told that by 2017, over 80% of children with access to TV were watching the program, about 3 million kids. At that time, 60% of youngesters in the country – two-thirds of them girls – were unable to complete school, so the show was a critical tool in filling that void.

As well as many of the characters beloved by American kids, the show followed Zari, a 6-year-old girl Muppet, and her 4-year-old brother Zeerak.

Amid the memorable scenes of Americans and Afghans alike desperately trying to flee the country during President Joe Biden’s chaotic withdrawal, the “Sesame Street” team — including the nine-months-pregnant puppeteer behind Zari — boarded a bus and headed to Kabul airport.

But they were denied access to the airport to get onto one of the last flights out of the country.

We’re told “Sesame Workshop” CEO Westin, based in the US, spent 48 hours straight liaising with the highest levels of the US military to save their lives. (She has somewhat extensive government connections, having served as Assistant to the President of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs under George H.W. Bush, and as a current member of the think tank Council on Foreign Relations).

While we’re told that Westin refuses to accept credit for the mission, military figures have claimed she’s responsible for the team being alive today.

The saga was revealed this week by filmmaker Perri Peltz while she was presenting the Champions of Literacy award to Westin at the Literacy Partners gala at Pier 60. Peltz says she’s in the process of making a documentary about the episode.
