Here’s how to watch Knicks championship parade for free at home

It’s time to paint NYC blue and orange.

Less than a week after winning the NBA Finals and breaking a 53-year title drought, the New York Knicks’ celebration will continue with a time-honored New York City tradition: a ticker-tape parade up the “Canyon of Heroes.”

It’ll be a beautiful — if slightly humid — morning, with rain hopefully holding off for the duration of the procession.

Alicia Keys will then close things out with a performance of her hit “Empire State of Mind.”

While millions head downtown to catch a glimpse of the champs, people at home won’t be left out; there are plenty of networks televising the parade. Here’s what you need to know.

World Cup 2026: What we learned from England’s tactics vs Croatia

In looking to pass the ball backwards to entice pressure from Croatia, before looking to play long into the space, England at times got the balance wrong.

Anthony Barry, England’s assistant coach, spoke at half-time about this issue.

“I think a lot of nervous energy early on,” he said. “Then we made some decisions, playing long when we should play short, playing short when we should play long, not playing through the gaps to accelerate our game the way we wanted to.”

By playing too direct early and often, England turned the ball over perhaps more than they would have liked. This created a first half that was more end-to-end, leaving spaces for the opponents to attack.

Elisha Cuthbert reveals why she quit Hollywood for 4 years before ‘Every Year After’ return

Elisha Cuthbert revealed why she stepped away from Hollywood for four years as she stepped back into the spotlight.

The “Girl Next Door” star, 43, said she put acting on hold to spend more time with her children and husband, former NHL star Dion Phaneuf, before she made her return in the new Prime Video series “Every Year After.”

“I realized I worked all four years through our first child and it was really hard,” Cuthbert said during an appearance on NBC’s “Today” Tuesday.

“To separate that mom from the working person I was. So, when we had our second, I just felt like I didn’t want to waste any second of it and I didn’t want to be on set.”

“I just felt like I needed to be at home with the kids and I enjoyed every minute,” she added.

Cuthbert’s role in “Every Year After” marks her first major acting project in four years, following the 2022 crime film “Bandit,” in which she starred alongside Mel Gibson.

The Canadian, who got her start as a child model before making her acting debut at 13, rose to fame in the early 2000s with a string of TV and movie roles, including fan-favorite comedies “The Girl Next Door” and “Old School” as well as the hit drama “24.”

Her last major role was in the Netflix sitcom “The Ranch,” which ran for four seasons and ended in 2020, with Cuthbert taking only a handful of smaller roles following the series’ conclusion.

Now, with her children — daughter Zaphire, born in 2017, and son Fable, born in 2022 — getting older, Cuthbert said she feels ready to return to work.

“They’re in school now full time,” she explained on “Today.” “I feel like I have the space and the energy and the heart to kind of leave them and do it.”

Cuthbert also reflected on the pressures that came with fame during the height of her career in the 2000s, saying she’s glad “Every Year After” star Sadie Soverall, 24, won’t have to face the same scrutiny.

“It was a lot of pressure,” she said. “Sadie Soverall, it’s nice that she’s in a time now where she doesn’t have to worry about those things. It’s very different.”

In the coming-of-age drama, which is based on Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel, Cuthbert plays Sue, the mother of Sam (Matt Cornett) and Charlie (Michael Bradway).

The actress admitted she wasn’t familiar with Fortune’s books before joining the project.

“It’s crazy because I hadn’t read any of Carley’s books and then I got on the show,” she said. “Obviously had the script, but I wanted to read the novel. And then I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m a superfan now.’”

“So, I read all her books, they’re amazing. I recommend them,” she added.

Virginia illegal immigrant Jose Hernandez handed bond in child sex abuse case

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) expressed outrage on social media Wednesday over Virginia’s sanctuary policies, demanding Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger intervene to prevent the release of an illegal immigrant charged with the sexual battery of a 5-year-old girl.

Jose Nahun Aleman Hernandez, 43, of Woodbridge, was arrested June 3 by the Prince William Police Department and is charged with aggravated sexual battery.

According to the police report, the 5-year-old victim was at her babysitter’s home when she was inappropriately touched by Hernandez, who was also inside the house.

Authorities said the alleged abuse occurred over a period spanning from January 2023 to March 2026.

No physical injuries were reported by the child, according to the police report.

Hernandez received a $5,000 secured bond, sparking the agency’s urgent public appeal to the governor to ensure he is not released back onto the streets.

“Sanctuary Spanberger’s REFUSAL to work with [ICE] has made Virginians less safe and the commonwealth a magnet for illegal alien crime,” DHS wrote in the post.

Spanberger has not publicly responded, as of Wednesday afternoon.

The governor’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Ukraine hits Moscow oil refinery, disrupting commercial flights in major drone attack

Ukraine hit a Moscow oil refinery for a second time in a week and disrupted commercial flights at Moscow airports in one of its biggest drone attacks since Russia’s invasion more than four years ago, Russian officials said Thursday.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that its air defenses overnight shot down 555 Ukrainian drones over multiple regions, with almost 200 intercepted as they were approaching the Russian capital.

Several drones hit the Moscow Oil Refinery on the southeastern outskirts of the city, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.

The Russian Transport Ministry said that flights from four Moscow airports were halted.

The attack came hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had held “an important coordination call” with US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron that may “bring about significant change.”

Zelenskyy said Wednesday his country had won key pledges of further support from world leaders attending the G7 summit in France.

″These last few days were very important for Ukraine because it is the reunification of the G7 around Ukraine,″ Macron told reporters as he and Trump left the Palace of Versailles near Paris.

″And now we will continue to advance to help Ukraine to resist″ and to build up its ″capacity to defend itself and capacity to counterattack,” Macron said.

The attack comes as President Vladimir Putin is in Kazan, 430 miles east of Moscow, hosting leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations as Russia seeks to bolster business and other ties.

The two-day meeting is set to consider ways to expand Russia’s “strategic partnership” with ASEAN nations that include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor and Vietnam, according to Kremlin foreign affairs adviser Yuri Ushakov.

Florida court says 18-year-olds have same gun rights as other adults

A Florida appeals court ruled Wednesday that the state’s ban on concealed carry by adults ages 18 to 20 violates the Second Amendment, finding that young adults are entitled to the same constitutional protections as law-abiding adults over the age of 20.

In a sweeping opinion, the court said 18-year-olds can serve in the military and defend the nation but face restrictions on their ability to exercise the same self-defense rights available to older adults.

“Eighteen- to 20-year-olds can defend the country without restriction but can only utilize their Second Amendment right to self-defense with severe restrictions,” Judge Spencer D. Levine wrote for a unanimous three-judge panel of Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeals.

“Restricting 18- to 20-year-olds — members of the same ‘political community’ as other law-abiding adults — from rights to self-defense would make the Second Amendment a ‘second-class’ right,” Levine wrote.

The ruling comes after Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier declined to defend the law earlier this year.

“In another win for the unalienable rights of Floridians, the 4th DCA agreed with our position that Florida’s law banning adults under 21 from conceal carrying a firearm is unconstitutional,” Uthmeier wrote on X.

“We will not seek further review and will work with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to implement the court’s order,” he wrote.

The case stemmed from the 2024 arrest of Jaylen Eubanks, who was 18 at the time. According to the opinion, officers responding to a report of a person displaying a handgun detained Eubanks and found an unholstered firearm on his waist. He was charged with carrying a concealed firearm and improper exhibition of a firearm.

Eubanks challenged the concealed-carry charge, arguing Florida’s age restriction violated the Second Amendment. The restriction was enacted following the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, where 17 people were killed. A trial court rejected Eubanks’ argument, but the appellate court reversed.

Citing Supreme Court precedent including Heller, Bruen and Rahimi, the court said adults ages 18 to 20 are among “the people” protected by the Second Amendment and that Florida failed to identify a historical tradition supporting the restriction.

The panel also pointed to founding-era militia laws requiring many 18-year-old men to serve while bearing arms.

“That young adults had to serve in the militia indicates that founding-era lawmakers believed those youth could, and indeed should, keep and bear arms,” the opinion states.

The court rejected arguments that concerns about firearm misuse among younger adults justified the restriction, saying Florida failed to identify a historical tradition supporting the law and that adults ages 18 to 20 could not be treated like categories historically subject to firearm restrictions, such as felons or the mentally ill.

“All those who reach the age of 18 are able, and encouraged, for example, to join the military to defend our country,” Levine wrote.

“Yet those very same law-abiding adults are burdened in their ability to exercise the same Second Amendment rights that other adults have.”

The court reversed Eubanks’ concealed-carry conviction and remanded the case for further proceedings.
