What our Post expert thinks about South Africa vs. Czechia
Czechia’s sharpest weapon is Patrik Schick, who has scored 49 goals in 87 games across the last two seasons for Bayer Leverkusen and now faces a South African defense that was burned against Mexico.
Despite losing 2-1 to South Korea, Czechia still performed consistently, with captain Ladislav Krejčí scoring from a long throw and goalkeeper Matěj Kovář making several key saves to keep them competitive.

The 41-year-old said he “was puffy-faced” from the sinus infection, but he’s on the mend now after doctors gave him “a bunch of steroids.”
But Jelly Roll noted the illness caused him to miss a portion of his performance at the June 9 show on Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour.
“It’s the first night as long as I’ve been touring with Post that I didn’t get to come out and sing ‘Losers,’” Jelly Roll shared. “I just barely got through my show.”

Page Six confirmed earlier this week that Jelly Roll — whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord — filed for divorce from Bunnie, 46, on May 18 after almost a decade of marriage.
The Grammy Award winner listed the duo’s date of separation as May 9, according to the court documents.
As for the reason they called it quits, he cited “irreconcilable differences.”
A source told Page Six the couple’s differing lifestyles played a part in their split (Jelly Roll and Bunnie are seen above). xomgitsbunnie/Instagram“It was really a combination of issues that had been building for years,” an insider told us (The exes are pictured above). xomgitsbunnie/Instagram
A source told Page Six the couple were dealing with “growing tension” behind the scenes due to their differing lifestyles — namely Jelly Roll’s religious beliefs clashing with Bunnie’s racy past.
“A lot of people want to point to one thing, but it was really a combination of issues that had been building for years,” an insider claimed.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa Andrea Carter, secretly tied the knot at a Las Vegas courthouse in August 2016.
Two years later, Jelly Roll had an affair, but they moved past the cheating scandal and renewed their vows in 2023.
During their marriage, Bunnie Xo served as a stepmom to Jelly Roll’s two kids, daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9, from previous relationships.
LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell is defending the department’s commitment to transparency after an officer fatally shot a family dog while responding to a suspected domestic violence call in Canoga Park, a case that has drawn intense public attention and fueled a fundraising campaign that has raised more than $185,000.
Outside the condominium complex where the shooting happened, supporters have left flowers, candles, photographs and handwritten tributes honoring Jameson, a 2-year-old Saint Berdoodle.
The growing memorial includes handwritten notes, drawings of Jameson, stuffed animals, and candles.

“Jameson was the sweetest boy,” one neighbor wrote. “Seeing him in the hallway would always brighten my day.”
The shooting happened shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday when officers responded to reports of a screaming woman and a suspected domestic violence incident at a condominium complex in Canoga Park.

“There is no incident more serious than when an officer fires a service weapon,” McDonnell said Wednesday night, announcing that a specialized department unit has launched what he described as a “thorough, multi-layered examination” of the encounter.
Police have not yet released details about what unfolded during the encounter.
McDonnell said investigators will carefully review all available evidence, including officer actions, witness statements, department policies and training standards.
“LAPD officers face unknown dangers on a daily basis, but I expect them to exercise sound judgment, restraint, and respect for life whenever possible,” the chief said.
The call came on what had been a celebratory evening for dog owner Marie Marseille and her family, who were marking the New York Knicks’ championship victory.

According to a statement released by attorneys representing Marseille and her son, Jeremiah Garcia, Jameson was wearing a Knicks jersey and standing beside Marseille when she answered her door.
The family’s attorneys argue Jameson posed no threat and have called for the release of body camera footage, surveillance video, dispatch recordings, radio communications and other evidence connected to the case.
McDonnell said the department understands the strong emotions surrounding the case. abc7
They are also seeking an independent review.
“Jameson was not merely a dog. He was a beloved member of this family. He was a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a cherished part of their daily lives,” a statement from the family’s counsel read.
“Marie and Jeremiah are grieving a profound loss and remain committed to pursuing every appropriate avenue to ensure that the truth is uncovered and accountability is achieved,” it continued.
“Every life lost to violence is a tragedy, and we know that the devastating loss of Jameson will be felt by his family forever,” Bass said.
“I have spoken directly to the Chief to ensure a full investigation and accountability for any wrongdoing.”
McDonnell said the department understands the strong emotions surrounding the case and pledged that investigators will follow the facts wherever they lead.
“We at the LAPD know the community is hurting,” he said. “Our job is clear: to complete a full and comprehensive review, to follow the facts wherever they lead, and to communicate openly with the public as we learn more.”
Against a fiery background with an African rhino pictured blazing forward, this pill advertises “TIME. SIZE. STAMINA.” It’s a common sight at bodegas and gas stations, hanging behind the clerk between the cigarettes and phone chargers.
There are dozens of brands making these gas station sex pills. Are they totally fake? Not exactly.
At best, they’re just herbal extracts that won’t do much of anything for you.
But at worst, it’s a totally unknown dose of a controlled medication like Viagra — which could cause heart issues.
The gas station pills are sold by dozens of different brands and packaging. FDA
Grant Harting, a pharmacist from Pennsylvania, put one of these capsules to the test to find out exactly what’s in it. In a viral social media video, Harting opened what he called a “sketchy gas station pill” that had a “large African rhino” on the packaging.
It listed ingredients like goji extract, deng sen extract, and cinnamon bark — an “herbal” blend that he shouldn’t do much of anything.
But when he looked at the powder inside, he immediately knew there was “no shot” it was herbal. He was right: Upon testing, he found it was sildenafil, the same active ingredient of Viagra.
“This is super illegal and super dangerous,” he said.
The brand name Viagra pills are strictly controlled for a reason. The drug should be used under the supervision of a doctor, because it can interact with other drugs and cause dangerously low blood pressure.
The real stuff, which requires a prescription, is also controlled for quality and the doses are consistent and known. The gas station stuff is a total mystery, both in terms of quality and dosage.
The FDA is well aware of the amount of illegal pharmaceuticals on the market. This month alone, they has released four new warnings about these sex pills.

According to the FDA, “Pink Pussycat Brand,” “Hard AF!” and “Erectus Plus” are just some examples of pills that contain an unlisted mystery concoction of sildenafil and tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis. Both can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
“Business Pill” and “Branch Manager for Men” contained yohimbine, which used to be used for erectile dysfunction until safer, more effective treatments came along. Yohimbe can cause severe high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat and even heart attacks.
Men looking for a fix for erectile dysfunction might get more than they bargained for with gas station sex pills. stock.adobe.com
It’s not just pills. In May, “Boner Bears” chocolates were recalled for containing sildenafil. “Pink Pussycat” also offered an array of products, from pills to liquid medication, honey, and chocolate — all with a secret concoction of sildenafil and tadalafil.
Like the pill Harting tested, these medications often claim to contain some herbal ingredients and never mention they have serious medication inside.
By only listing herbal ingredients, the products fall into the supplement category, avoiding the watchful eye of the FDA. Regulators don’t test or approve products before they go to the public, but may get involved if they falsely advertise.
The pull for gas station pills is obvious — skip the conversation with your doctor about sexual performance, and just pick up a solution right where you get your chips and soda.
But as a Men’s Health reporter found, it’s quite possible the pills could make you feel the opposite of sexy. After trying a selection of the sex pills, he described an “urge to projectile vomit,” sweating and feeling cold and clammy, and a “massive, explosive liquid poo.”
Megyn Kelly blasted Emily Ratajkowski’s graphic essay about her post-divorce sex life as a harmful example for young women, accusing New York Magazine’s The Cut of glorifying promiscuity under the guise of female empowerment.
“Shame on The Cut for running this,” Kelly said during Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show,” denouncing Ratajkowski for “becoming a slut” as “kind of a soothing balm, I guess.”
The former Fox News primetime host was reacting to Ratajkowski’s essay, “Mother F–ker,” published Friday by The Cut, in which the model and actress details her life as a newly single mother after the collapse of her marriage.
Megyn Kelly blasted Emily Ratajkowski’s essay as a harmful example for young women during her SiriusXM podcast. The Megyn Kelly Show
In the piece, Ratajkowski describes embarking on a period of compulsive dating following her separation, writing that she was trying to figure out “what kind of woman” she wanted to become.
Kelly took particular issue with the article’s graphic descriptions of childbirth and motherhood.
“She became the thing she never wanted to be, which was a single mother,” Kelly said while summarizing the essay.
“I think most women remember some pain around the birth, but when you ask them about the birth, they might say, ‘Oh yeah, I was in a lot of pain,’ but then the very, very next thing they’d say is how wonderful the baby is, and what it’s like to become a mother, and the miracle of that first moment.”
“That’s not really how she describes it.”
Ratajkowski, 35, rose to fame as a model before becoming an actress, author and social media personality with nearly 30 million Instagram followers.
The essay chronicles her divorce and subsequent dating experiences while raising her young son.

In one of the article’s most provocative passages, Ratajkowski writes: “I decided to f–k my way into a new kind of woman.”
“I wanted to destroy the Madonna, the special girl I’d worked so hard to be before an eight-pound baby had torn my vagina in two, and replace her with the whore,” she wrote.
Kelly seized on the language.
“So she talks now about how she’s become a slut, really, that’s what she’s decided to do,” Kelly said.
“She never had a one-night stand prior to her separation, but now she wants to be a whore.”

The article describes a series of post-divorce sexual encounters and Ratajkowski’s efforts to reinvent herself after the breakup.
She writes that before separating from her husband, she had “never had a one-night stand” and had only slept with eight people.
The essay also recounts nights spent drinking martinis, casual sexual relationships and returning home before her son woke up each morning.
Kelly argued that the article attempts to frame the behavior as empowering.
“I guess we’re supposed to celebrate this as an example of female empowerment,” she said.
The SiriusXM host also criticized the essay’s cover image, which depicts Ratajkowski posing topless while cradling what appears to be an infant.
Kelly suggested the feature was less a serious meditation on motherhood than an exercise in provocation.
The criticism grew sharper as Kelly questioned the message the article sends to younger readers.
“It’s like the young girls who don’t have Emily’s followers on Instagram, or her money, or her name,” Kelly said.
“Sadly, some faction of them may be inspired by this.”
Ratajkowski said she began “compulsively dating” after becoming a single mother following the collapse of her marriage. Instagram/emrata
“Like, ‘Oh yeah, she seems much happier now, in her own words, becoming a whore. Maybe I should try it.’”
Kelly also accused Ratajkowski of contradicting her past complaints about being sexually objectified.
The model has previously spoken publicly about sexism, objectification and the pressures placed on women because of their appearance.
“By the way, it’s from the same woman who wrote a whole thing about how she hates being sexually objectified by men,” Kelly said.
The Cut essay has generated widespread online discussion since its publication, with supporters praising Ratajkowski’s candor about divorce, dating and motherhood while critics have questioned its graphic content and underlying message.
For Kelly, however, the issue was not merely the essay itself but the decision to publish it.
“Shame on The Cut for running this,” she said.
The Post has sought comment from Ratajkowski and The Cut.

Ivory Coast international Elye Wahi has been denied entry to Canada for his country’s World Cup group game against Germany on Saturday.
The Nice forward was reportedly, external arrested last month before the World Cup over alleged involvement in spot-fixing in Ligue 1.
Wahi, 23 – who started Sunday’s World Cup win over Ecuador – has been accused of deliberately earning a yellow card while playing for Nice against Metz in May.
Spot-fixing is the practice of deliberately affecting match incidents in a way that allows people to profit through betting markets.
A statement to the Athletic from the public prosecutor’s office in Marseille confirmed a 23-year-old football player, competing in France’s Ligue 1, was arrested, without naming Wahi.
On Wednesday, Ligue de Football (LFP) confirmed they had been alerted to “an unusually high volume of bets placed on a warning involving the player Elye Wahi”.
The Ivory Coast’s football federation (FIF) say they had not been told of any “judicial or administrative proceedings” against Wahi, but confirmed he had not been able to obtain authorisation to enter Canada.
“The Ivorian Football Federation has taken note of the various articles and information published on this Wednesday, June 17, 2026, concerning the Ivorian international Elye Wahi,” it said in a statement.
“To date, the FIF has not been officially notified of any judicial or administrative proceedings involving him.
“In this particularly delicate period, the FIF extends all its support to the player and reaffirms its confidence in him. Elye Wahi remains an important element of the Ivory Coast national team.
“The FIF also informs that the player will not be able to join the delegation’s trip to Canada. Indeed, the necessary administrative authorisations for his entry into Canadian territory could not be obtained at this stage.
“Elye Wahi will therefore remain in the United States pending the team’s return.”
After facing Germany in Toronto, the Ivory Coast then play Curacao in Philadelphia next Thursday.
The statement from the Marseille public prosecutor’s office said the arrest was made “as part of an investigation opened by the Marseille public prosecutor’s office into allegations of organised fraud, organised sports corruption, handling of proceeds of crime and money laundering”.
The player was released after being interviewed in police custody and the investigations remain ongoing, officials added.
Wahi’s booking in the game was his fifth in the league so earned him a suspension for the first leg of Nice’s relegation play-off against Saint-Etienne on 26 May.
That game ended in a 0-0 draw but Wahi returned for the second leg in which he scored twice in a 4-1 victory to help Nice keep their place in the top flight.
BBC Sport has contacted Wahi’s representatives and Fifa for comment.
The LFP said: “At this stage, and given the ongoing investigation and the confidentiality requirements imposed by the police authorities, the LFP will not make any further comments and has not initiated disciplinary proceedings. However, it reserves the right to do so depending on the progress of the investigation.
“The LFP reiterates that it remains fully committed to ensuring the integrity of its competitions and that it will act with the utmost firmness against any behaviour that could compromise it.”
Wahi is the second World Cup player to be denied entry to Canada after Ghana’s Thomas Partey was refused a visa because of ongoing criminal proceedings in the UK.
Former Arsenal midfielder Partey pleaded not guilty to seven charges of rape and one count of sexual assault relating to allegations by four different women between 2020 and 2022 and is scheduled to stand trial next year.
The Ghanaian government sought permission for him to enter the country briefly to take part in the game but that appeal was rejected at a federal court in Ottawa.
Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, the former Democratic Unionist Party leader, is on trial for 18 sex abuse charges, including one count of rape, all of which he denies.
