Doctors felicitated for service on National Doctors’ Day

Five doctors were felicitated by Alluri Sitarama Raju Vignana Kendram (AVK) in Visakhapatnam on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day on Wednesday. Continuing its nine-year tradition, the organisation honoured Dr. C. Srinivasa Rao, Dr. J. Kishore, Dr. K. Kamala, Dr. Sabeena Bhanu and Dr. Charan Sai for their contribution to healthcare.

AVK Convener T. Kameswara Rao said the medical profession was not merely an occupation but a noble humanitarian service. He observed that doctors played an irreplaceable role in safeguarding public health and that honouring those who had earned the trust and gratitude of society was a collective responsibility.
