The Taylor Sheridan Universe is still going strong in 2026.

The Luke Grimes-led Yellowstone spinoff Marshals just got a Season 2 renewal. Dutton Ranch starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser is currently airing its first season. Lioness just got a Season 3 teaser and release date. And The Madison has already filmed Season 2 and been renewed for Season 3. So what’s the status on Landman Season 3?

It’s been months since Landman Season 2, Episode 10, “Tragedy and Flies” saw the birth of “CTT Oil Exploration & Cattle” and Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) and his crew get their own oil company. At the recent Newport Beach TV Fest, Thornton addressed fan fears that Tommy could be killed off Landman in the near future, saying, “I think Taylor [Sheridan, creator] is going to let me hang around.” So now that one of the Landman Season 2 finale’s biggest questions is answered, what else can we expect from Season 3? And when will Landman return with new episodes?

If you head to Paramount+ tonight, Sunday, June 14, will a new episode of Landman be on? Will there be a Landman Season 3? And if so, when does Landman Season 3 premiere on Paramount+? Great questions.

Here’s everything we know about the future of Landman, including premiere date info, filming updates, streaming info, and more.

Is Landman on Tonight (June 14)?

Hoping to watch a new episode of Landman tonight, June 14, 2026? Sadly, you’re out of luck. Landman has been on hiatus ever since its Season 2 finale premiered on January 18, 2026.

Will There Be A Landman Season 3?

You bet! In December 2025, Paramount renewed Landman for a third season and praised the show’s high viewership in a press release, writing, “Season two struck viewership records for Paramount+, achieving over 9.2 Million streaming views for its premiere episode in the first two days on service. Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+.” During FYC season, there’s been lots of Emmys chatter surrounding Season 2 as well, so it’s no surprise the network and fans want more! And Landman‘s cast does, too.

“So excited to announce we are coming back for Season 3,” Ali Larter wrote on Instagram. Thank you to the fans that have made Landman such a massive success. Honored to work on this show with such exceptional actors and crew. Heart is full.”

Though Sheridan shows typically keep details under wraps, in a recent interview with Variety, Thornton speculated, “My guess is that Season 3 is gonna be a combo of Season 1, which had more tension and danger, and Season 2, that was more about the wacky family and the oil business. It’s going to be an even combo of both.”

When Will Landman Season 3 Premiere on Paramount+? Landman Season 3 Premiere Date:

Following the Season 2 finale, Landman co-creator Christian Wallace told The Hollywood Reporter that filming was set to begin in May 2026. During a recent interview on Howie Mandel’s podcast, however, Thornton confirmed production was delayed until “the end of August,” which may shift when Season 3 is released.

An official Landman Season 3 premiere date has yet to be announced, but Landman Season 1 premiered on November 17, 2024, and Season 2 premiered on November 16, 2025. Fans were hopeful that new episodes could hit Paramount+ in November 2026, but given the filming delay, we might have to wait until 2027. Stay tuned for more updates, and read on for rewatch info!
