A deranged Florida man who believes he saw the anti-Christ is accused of trying to steal a medical helicopter at the scene of a car crash he reportedly caused.
Riley Ferrer was driving northbound on I-75 around midnight on Friday when he lost control of his pickup, veered off the road and struck another vehicle before overturning into the woods, according to FOX 13 News.

Two people were severely injured and a medical helicopter was dispatched to evacuate them to a hospital.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office shut down the northbound lanes of I-75 to facilitate the landing of the medical helicopter.
While first responders were prepping patients for the helicopter, Ferrer unsuccessfully attempted to hijack the aircraft.
After police arrived at the scene Ferrer was placed in the back seat of a patrol vehicle and taken to Tampa General Hospital Brooksville.
The Florida Highway Patrol stated Ferrer refused to walk into the building, necessitating a physical escort, and refused to remain seated, requiring troopers to keep him seated until deputies arrived.
He was cleared and transferred to Hernando County Detention Center. He continued to resist deputies upon arrival at the Hernando County Detention Center.

He faces three counts of resisting without violence and one count of burglary of an occupied conveyance.
Jail records show that he was issued a $3,000 bond for the resisting charges but he is being held with no bond for the burglary charge.
The medical condition of the other two people involved in the crash is not immediately clear.
