The love bubble is growing, and no one can pop it this time. With filming underway for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15, Gia Giudice is opening up about how her mom, Teresa Giudice, and her aunt, Melissa Gorga, are keeping the peace after ending their years-long feud last fall.
Bravo announced in March that Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores Catania, along with a new group of women, will be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has been on a filming hiatus since 2023. The news came mere months after Teresa squashed her beef with Melissa and her husband (Teresa’s brother) Joe Gorga.
“I think they’re really going into the season as a united front,” Gia told DECIDER while promoting the second season of Next Gen NYC. “I think there really is just nothing to fight about anymore, without really bringing up the past, and that’s something that they’re not doing.”
“The only way that they were able to make this [reconciliation] worth it and last was to let go of the past,” Gia added. “That goes for all of us.”
According to the Casual Chaos podcast host, the new women in the cast aren’t trying to interfere in their newly-mended relationship.
“Going into Real Housewives of New Jersey, I think fans are going to be so excited and happy to see their relationship. It really is so beautiful,” Gia said. “Also, a lot of the new ladies are incredible and I think they really are happy to see my mom and aunt back together. Nobody’s trying to mess anything up, which I think is very refreshing.”
Teresa and Melissa’s on-again, off-again relationship came to a screeching halt in The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13, resulting in Melissa and Joe’s decision not to attend Teresa’s wedding with Louie Ruelas. Despite their refusal to film together, Bravo forged on with Season 14. However, their inability to find resolution and the clear divide within the cast forced the network to cancel that season’s reunion and, ultimately, put the show on an indefinite pause.
While they once vowed never to speak to one another again, the tides shifted in late 2025 when Teresa reached out to Joe. By the time BravoCon rolled around last November, the family had swept their issues under the rug and agreed to move forward in their relationships.
At BravoCon, Joe called on Bravo fans to help bring their family back together.
“You know what we need from the Bravo family? We need the Bravo family to put us together,” he said. “There are no more teams, because it’s been too long and it’s sad. It really is. I want [Teresa] in my life, I want my nieces in my life. We need to be together. We met, and it was really … it was sentimental and it was nice.”
The first 14 seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are currently streaming on Peacock. Plus, you can catch Gia on Next Gen NYC when Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
