As many as 81,770 students got fresh allotment in the third and final stage in the main phase allotment for admission to Plus One higher secondary courses in Kerala.
As many as 58,042 students got higher options too.
With this, the total number of allotments in the three allotments in the main phase comes to 3,11,204.
Since the number of seats, including those for the differently abled, is 3,17,126, only 5,922 merit seats are vacant after this allotment across the State.
Highest in Malappuram
The highest number of fresh allotments was in Malappuram – 18,987. As many as 8,955 students got allotment in Kozhikode and 8,152 in Kannur.
In Malappuram, where the total number of applicants was 82,753, including 8,213 from other districts, and the total number of seats, including additional seats for the differently abled, was 57,740, the total number of seats allotted so far is 57,669. This means only 71 seats remain vacant now. In Kozhikode, 49 seats are vacant.
