The maniac who allegedly stabbed a Florida tourist inside a Manhattan subway station this week was a female stranger who covered her face with a mask and sunglasses, cops said.
The tourist, 32, was knifed in the stomach after a heated argument on the platform inside the 42nd Street-Bryant Park hub around 4 p.m. Wednesday, authorities and sources said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, police said.

The attacker wore all black, a blue surgical mask and sunglasses, police said.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the clash between the two women, who were strangers.
The assailant had not been caught by Thursday.

The attack came less than a day after another woman, also 32, was slashed multiple times during a clash with a female rider on board a Bronx train, cops said.
The victim was cut on the left arm, chest and lower back when tensions flared around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday on board a northbound No. 6 train at the 149th Street and Southern Boulevard station in Mott Haven, authorities said.
That victim was also hospitalized in stable condition and it was not clear what sparked the fight.
