In a major step towards enhancing healthcare services for devotees visiting the Lord Venkateswara temple, a modernised dispensary was inaugurated at Vaikuntham Queue Complex-II on Thursday.
The upgraded facility has been established to provide prompt and emergency medical care to pilgrims and is equipped with advanced medical infrastructure, including ECG facilities, oxygen support systems and other modern medical equipment to effectively respond to medical emergencies.
The dispensary also will be staffed round-the-clock by four doctors and 16 paramedical personnel. A 24×7 ambulance service has also been made available to ensure immediate transportation of patients requiring advanced medical attention.
The inauguration was attended by TTD Dy EO Lokanatham, Chief Medical Officer Dr Kusuma Kumari and others.
