Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday gave a new slogan, ‘NDA (National Democratic Alliance) again and again’ to achieve development in the State.

Addressing a public meeting at Punnapuvaripalem village in Chillakuru mandal of Nellore district, he urged the people to make a resolve, ‘Never again to ‘Axe Party’, referring to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

“The leaders of ‘Axe Party’ are running wild, alongside gangs involved with marijuana and violence. They made disgusting and insulting remarks about the Home Minister. Though the Women’s Commission strongly questioned this matter, they continue to defend the comments,” Mr. Naidu said, calling the YSRCP leaders ‘psychos’ for speaking recklessly.

“We expelled those who spoke in such a manner from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). However, the ‘Axe Party’ is terrorising everyone and creating an atmosphere of fear, much like the extremists. With a new piece of fake news and a new stunt every day, it is attempting to incite conflict among different castes, religions, and regions,” the Chief Minister said.

“The ‘Axe Party’ has turned the State into a haven for ganja. After we came to power, we controlled it through the EAGLE Task Force. Its leaders do not need Amaravati, which is necessary for all the people of the State. Unable to tolerate things happening so fast in the capital city, they are continuing their conspiracies against it,” he claimed.

The Chief Minister said that due to the ‘haphazard decisions’ made by the previous government, the State was left without a capital.

Referring to YSRCP president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr. Naidu said, “He created confusion with the proposal of three capitals. The people visiting from the neighbouring States ridiculed by asking if A.P. really had three capitals. After Amaravati was enacted in Parliament as a permanent capital, he started new antics involving Mavigun.”

He accused the YSRCP leaders of attempting to incite conflict between castes and spreading propaganda through obscene social media posts targeting the family members of Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan.”

“While we are pursuing development with dedication, the YSRCP leaders are obstructing it. This party commits crimes, shields criminals and engages in politics with them. If the people give them power, it will again create troubles in the State. It would take only a moment to put such people behind bars, but we are not engaging in vindictive politics,” Mr. Naidu said.

The Chief Minister said that the sole focus of the government is the State’s development. “We have launched initiatives like ‘Jaladhara–Jalaharathi (Water Conservation Mission)’ to transform the land into a water reservoir. We are considering plans to interlink the Godavari and Kaveri rivers to supply water to downstream States as well,” he said.

Accusing the previous government of driving industries away from the State, Mr. Naidu said, “It takes time to attract industries, but a single moment is enough to drive them away. We succeeded in bringing Hero MotoCorp—which was otherwise destined for Karnataka—to our State and establishing motorcycle production here.”

The foundation stone for Rayalaseema Steel Plant (RSP) in Kadapa will be laid on July 3, 2026 and production would commence by 2028. “My endeavour is to deliver development, welfare, and good governance,” he said.
