The three-day visit of BJP national president Nitin Nabin to Telangana, commencing on June 28, will be significant for the party’s organisational and political activities in the State, said BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao.

Speaking to mediapersons after reviewing arrangements at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds on Saturday, Mr. Rao said Mr. Nabin would address the ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Sammelan’ scheduled to be held at the venue on Sunday evening. The meeting will be attended by booth-level presidents from the GHMC, Malkajgiri and Cyberabad regions, booth-level agents and State executive members. Around 15,000 party workers are likely to attend the meeting.

As per the schedule, Mr. Nabin will arrive in Hyderabad on June 28 and proceed to the BJP Rangareddy district office at Shamshabad. He will virtually inaugurate the newly constructed district office along with nine other party district offices across the State. The event is said to be a milestone in the BJP’s organisational expansion in Telangana.

Mr. Ramchander Rao said the visit was intended to send a clear political message in Telangana and recalled that the party leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had already focused its attention on the State.

Stating that the initiative was not confined to Hyderabad or the GHMC limits, Mr. Rao said it would mark the beginning of a broader political campaign across Telangana.

During his tour, Mr. Nabin is also scheduled to hold a meeting with booth-level leaders in Warangal and participate in a State executive meeting near Ghatkesar. A Youth and Students Conclave will also be organised at the VBIT campus, where Mr. Nabin will interact with students on issues concerning the country’s future, the role of youth and the vision of a developed India.
