Over 1.6 lakh children given polio vaccine in Kozhikode

As many as 1,63,495 children aged below five were administered polio vaccine in Kozhikode on Sunday (June 28, 2026).

According to a release, this include 857 children of migrant labourers. There are 1,89,345 children in the targeted group and 86.35% have been covered. Health workers will reach the doorsteps of those who missed the vaccine on Monday (June 29, 2026) and Tuesday (June 30, 2026).
