Hallmark Channel is taking on Chi-Town in tonight’s new release.

The Love Heist is set in the Windy City, following Kayli (Lyndsy Fonseca), a celebrity stylist. After “an iconic piece of fashion history”—specifically, a piece inspired by Elizabeth Taylor— disappears from her room ahead of the Chicago Costume Gala, she joins forces with Mills (Peter Porte), the security chief at the hotel hosting the event’s attendees, to find it. It’s a whodunnit of fashionable proportions.

Tonight’s movie marks the third installment in Hallmark’s Summer Night’s roster, following The Greek Aisle and Texas Two-Step. The following night, Hallmark Channel viewers will be treated to The Way Home‘s Season 4 finale, which also serves as the conclusion to the beloved time-travel series.

Already wondering who stars in Hallmark Channel’s The Love Heist, take a look at our The Love Heist cast guide before the new fashion caper premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel, with next-day streaming on Hallmark+.

Warning: Light spoilers ahead for The Love Heist, premiering tonight on Hallmark Channel.

  1. Lyndsy Fonseca in 'The Love Heist'

Lyndsy Fonseca stars as Kayli, a celebrity stylist working for the famous Celine Lang. She arrives in Chicago from L.A. for the gala, and must face her fears by taking on more than she was expecting to when Celine has a sudden family obligation.

Fonseca is no stranger to Hallmark, having most recently starred in 2025’s Single on the 25th with Daniel Lissing. Outside of the network, she is best known for her work as Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless, playing Ted’s daughter in How I Met Your Mother, and her appearances in Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2.

  2. Peter Porte in 'The Love Heist'

Liam Mills, known simply as “Mills” (played by Peter Porte) is the chief hotel security at Chicago’s Park Luxe Hotel, where guests attending the gala are staying. He knows the hotel and its guests inside and out, and is well-versed in security measures, with experience in the military.

Like Fonseca, Porte previously worked on The Young and the Restless. He also made a recent return to Days of Our Lives as Dmitri Von Leuschner. Among his other TV credits are Parks and Recreation, Devious Maids, and Baby Daddy.

  3. Rhianna Jagpal in 'The Love Heist'

Rhianna Jagpal plays Rini-Jean, one of Kayli’s celebrity clients, who she is tasked with styling for the gala. She initially gives Kayli a run for her money, but it’s only because she wants to maintain unique looks for and stand out at the high-profile event.

Jagpal played Dipti Shaw in the third To All The Boys movie, 2021’s To All The Boys: Always and Forever. Her TV credits include work on The Flash, Family Law, The Imperfects, Wild Cards, and Tracker.

  4. Chris Yamez and Rhianna Jagpal in 'The Love Heist'

Olly K. (Chris Yamez) is a former boy band star who has broken out on his own. He is dating Rini-Jean, and has a special surprise planned for her at the gala.

Chris Yamez most recently appeared in two episodes of Wild Cards. He has also worked on the shows Alert and Fogtown, and the TV movie Robin Roberts Presents: I Will Survive: The Gloria Gaynor Story.

  5. Lyndsy Fonseca and Cecilia Deacon in 'The Love Heist'

Cecilia Deacon plays Vivien, an actress who Kayli previously styled (and slipped up at while doing so). The fashion faux pas has prevented Kayli from taking risks professionally, and has made her doubt herself.

Deacon has previously worked with Hallmark, having appeared in movies like Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Home Again (2017) and Love at First Dance (2018), in addition to a three-episode arc on When Calls the Heart in 2024.
