West Wilson confirmed the rumors that he was axed from “Summer House.”
“I wanted to tell it on my own but that [exit rumor] is true,” West said while appearing on the “Broadcast Boys” podcast Wednesday.
“In [Bravo’s] defense, I don’t think it would have been a fun summer,” he added.
As Page Six previously reported, the reality star was not picked up for Season 11 of the hit Bravo show following his romance scandal with Amanda Batula.
However, sources connected to “Summer House” told TMZ the sports journalist could still make a cameo on the Bravo show.
The upcoming season is slated to begin filming over the Fourth of July weekend.
West and Batula confirmed their secret romance in March.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” the pair wrote in a joint statement on Instagram.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they added.
The couple noted that their “connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship” and that they did not quickly go public with their romance because they wanted to “approach this with care.”
Fellow co-star Ciara Miller was shocked to find out Batula — who has been her close friend — was now dating her ex-boyfriend, whom the model dated for four months in 2023.
Meanwhile, Batula announced her separation from Kyle Cooke in January after four years of marriage.
The fallout from the romance played out on the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion as Miller slammed her former BFF for being a “f–king snake” for dating her ex.
Cooke also poked holes in Wilson and Batula’s relationship timeline by revealing he and his wife broke up the same day they publicly announced their separation. Miller caught Batula and Wilson hanging out two days before the joint statement was issued.
Despite all of the backlash, the couple enjoyed a romantic trip to Italy for a wedding last month.
