The recent news that Gilmore Girls is leaving Netflix still stings.
Yes, unfortunately, the classic, early 2000s show will be leaving the streamer it once called home for 12 years. We know this is a blow to many fans, who return the series time and time again as a source of familiar comfort.
Netflix took to the social media platform X and revealed the sad news earlier this month, writing, “We are sorry to say that Gilmore Girls Seasons 1-7 will be leaving Netflix in the U.S. next week, on June 30. Raising a cup of coffee to every fan who visited Stars Hollow with us.”
That said, you will still be able to watch the 4-episode limited series from 2016, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, on Netflix, as that one is a Netflix original. But we know, we know. It’s not as good as the real thing.
Before the dreaded day, we’re here to give you all the information so your favorite characters, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel), can still keep you company!
Will Gilmore Girls Be on Prime Video in 2026?
Fantastic news! The entire Gilmore Girls series will be available to stream on Prime Video starting July 1.
How To Watch Gilmore Girls on Prime Video:
You can watch Gilmore Girls by either having a Prime subscription or purchasing each episode/season individually. Right now, Prime has a deal to purchase all seven seasons for only $59.99.
Does Amazon’s Prime Video Offer a Free Trial?
So, there’s not excuse not to subscribe to the platform before the show becomes available.
Is Gilmore Girls on Hulu and Disney Plus?
Yes! The series is available on both Hulu and Disney Plus.
Disney+ offers a number of subscription options, so you can find the one that works for you. With ads, a subscription costs $11.99/month; without ads, it’s $18.99/month or $189.99/year.
There are also Disney+ bundles with Hulu, HBO Max, and ESPN+, so you can subscribe to up to three services at once and save over 40% every month. The bundles are available in a few different configurations, starting at $11.99/month for Disney+ and Hulu with ads, and going up to $32.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max ad-free.
So even though Gilmore Girls is leaving Netflix, there are plenty of other places you can still watch the series on streaming. Where they lead, we will follow.
