The Directorate of Student Welfare, Dr. Manmohan Singh Bengaluru City University, organised its annual cultural festival ‘BCU Utsava-3.0’ on the Jnana Jyothi campus to encourage and nurture student talent.
As part of the utsava, various cultural competitions including music, group dance, singing, Bharatanatyam, quiz, mono-acting, skit, mimicry, elocution, debate, rangoli, folk arts, painting, poster presentation, cartooning, and fashion show were held, along with an inter-departmental sports meet.
Kannada film stars Vinay Rajkumar and Megha Shetty attended as chief guests at the valedictory ceremony held on Tuesday. The duo distributed prizes to the winners. The Department of Zoology team clinched the Champion Trophy for best overall performance.
Presiding over the function, Vice-Chancellor Ramesh B. announced that an inter-collegiate level festival would be organised from the next academic year.
