One of the founders of legendary California band the Beach Boys has listed his palatial Lake Tahoe home for a staggering $43 million.
Mike Love, 85, who helped craft such classics at “California Girls” and “Good Vibrations,” shares the home with his wife Jacquelyne and has lived there for more than four decades.
The luxurious estate features a whopping 10 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and 3 half-bathrooms across 18,922 square feet on a 2.5-acre lot.
Highlights of the stone-covered mansion include a recording studio, home theater, wine cellar, a poker room, an in-home sauna and gym, and a pool with with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe.
The real estate agent representing the property told The California Post that the Nevada home is akin to a “modern-day castle.”
Jeannette Harpole, of Keller Williams Realty, explained that Love’s wife “hand-selected” pieces for the mansion and that its rooms have themes modeled after different parts of the world.
The couple hired artisans southern Indian temple artisans to design the front door and had it blessed by a temple priest.
During the winter, the home even features a “built-in ice skating rink,” Harpole said, adding that the estate has been curated for “ultra-wealthy, exclusive-type of people.”

Love is selling the home because he wanted a space that’s less expansive now that his eight children are grown, Harpole said.
He plans to buy a smaller home in the Lake Tahoe area.
