Kamala Harris predicts Obama-like end for Trump on Iran negotiations

Former Vice President Kamala Harris took an apparent shot at the Trump administration’s Iran deal, saying it could hurt Republicans in the midterm elections during a public appearance at a climate summit in Vienna on Tuesday.

“This is a war the American people did not want. This is a War of Choice. This is a president who has proven himself to be entirely self-indulgent. And we will see what happens in the coming hours and days in terms of the negotiation. And really, it’s a concept of an agreement,” said Harris at the Austrian World Summit hosted by the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative.

While Trump’s memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iran has not been released, comparisons to former President Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal have reemerged. According to administration officials, the agreement would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and require Iran to halt nuclear weapons development and support for terrorism.

Harris has seized the moment to reignite a political fight over which approach did more to curb Iran’s ambitions.

“Whatever is being negotiated, this president is going to declare victory, and we’ll end up where we were after the JCPOA and call that a victory, the JPOA that he withdrew from,” said Harris.

Republicans are entering the November midterm elections amid concerns that many Americans continue to feel the strain of elevated gas and grocery prices. Trump administration officials have repeatedly emphasized that, under the MOU, consumers are expected to see relief at the gas pump beginning this summer.

“There is a direct correlation between this war of choice and what has happened in terms of gas prices. It is estimated the average American has spent, since the war started, $500 more because of this war,” Harris said.

“I have no question or doubt that we will win the midterms, and it will be a result of people of every background and political association who will contribute to that outcome,” she added.

Oil prices fell on Monday to their lowest levels since early March after a preliminary U.S.-Iran agreement raised hopes that traffic through the Strait could soon return to normal.

The agreement, soon to be released, would test whether Iran is willing to trade decades of isolation for economic relief and renewed ties with the West.

The deal hinges on whether Iran can demonstrate during a 60-day negotiating period that it has abandoned its nuclear ambitions and support for terrorist organizations.

Hawaiian Airlines cuts free meals for economy passengers

Free food just got an early departure.

Hawaiian Airlines just announced that complimentary meal service has hit some turbulence as the company will no longer be offering a free meal.

Those sitting in economy — of course — will be the ones hit hard. But travelers can still grab some grub, they just have to pay for it.

“Starting July 1, we’re transitioning away from the complimentary sandwich in Main Cabin on domestic transpacific flights and introducing a pre-order menu with meals available for purchase,” the company said in the FAQ portion of a press release

The switch applies to all domestic transpacific flights, except for the long-haul flight between Honolulu and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. Folks on that flight will see friendlier skies as free meals will still be served.

“Main Cabin guests on our Honolulu–New York City (JFK) route will continue to receive a complimentary meal,” the statement confirmed.

The move comes as Hawaiian steps up its onboard service with pre-order dining by popular Hawai‘i chefs. The typical Hot Pocket-esk sandwich will now be replaced with “elevated meals.”

Flyers will now see island-inspired dishes in the Main Cabin with a new onboard service program with flavors of Hawai‘i. And starting July 1, Main Cabiners on most flights between Hawai‘i and the US will need to pre-order meals.

These include crispy mochiko chicken with garlic noodles, barbecue teriyaki chicken bento on a bed of white rice and corned beef hash with eggs from Sheldon Simeon, a Maui-based chef, restaurateur and James Beard Award finalist.

Passengers on early flights will get a pretty sweet breakfast. These are for flights departing between 6 a.m. and 9:59 a.m.

One option is a French toast made with Hawaiian bread, eggs and Portuguese sausage for $15.99. For the same price, folks can score the fluffy pancakes filled with mashed bananas and served with scrambled eggs and Portuguese sausage featuring the spicy-K mayo and banana bread syrup.

Other choices include coconut overnight oats $10.99 and a cheesy omelet for $13.99.

For flights taking off between 10 a.m. – 8:29 p.m., chefs are dishing up some top-tier meals.

At $15.99, the grilled chicken bánh mì sandwich comes with French bread from Honolulu’s La Tour Bakehouse and is filled with lemongrass-grilled chicken thigh, pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro and jalapeño. a mac salad, spicy-K mayo, sweet teriyaki sauce and crunchy toppings bag is included.

The teriyaki cheeseburger has a teriyaki-marinated beef patty on a toasted teriyaki-glazed bun with American cheese and house-made pickles. The same sides are offered.

Just note that pre-order starts July 1 for Main Cabin guests on all domestic Hawaiian Airlines flights, excluding JFK. Choices can be made up to two weeks before departure and 20 hours prior to the flight.

For First Class guests, pre-select is already available. Plus, all First Class guests will get a meal regardless.

Passengers pinching pennies will still get complimentary treats throughout the flight, including a welcome beverage, a local snack and a “mahalo sweet treat” just before arrival.

Polish authorities nab suspect in broad-daylight execution of Russian artist critical of Putin

WARSAW, Poland — Polish authorities have arrested a man suspected of fatally shooting in broad daylight a Russian activist critical of President Vladimir Putin and believe there is a likely link to a foreign intelligence service, top officials said Thursday.

The killing is the latest act which Polish authorities believe could be part of a campaign of Russian sabotage in NATO nations aimed at sowing fear and demoralizing Ukraine’s closest allies.

The suspect in Monday’s killing in Poland is a 36-year-old man who carried a passport belonging to the ex-Soviet republic of Georgia, Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said at a news conference in Warsaw.

Kierwiński said the man is suspected of links to organized crime and is being linked by police to other crimes committed in Poland, including those dating to 2022.

Robert Kuzovkov, known by the pseudonym Semyon Skrepetsky, was killed near his home in the eastern Polish city of Biala Podlaska, a city near the border with Belarus. Polish police say the victim was 44 years old.

Prosecutors said the perpetrator fired two shots at him, then shot him three more times at close range before fleeing. Kuzovkov died at the scene of gunshot wounds to the head, chest and back.

“We consider it possible that foreign intelligence services may have been involved,” said Tomasz Siemoniak, Poland’s security services minister, who spoke at the press conference alongside the interior minister.

“Foreign services sometimes hire criminals to carry out operations. We have seen this in previous years. While those cases did not involve murder, criminals were hired to conduct assaults in other countries. We are therefore taking this possibility very seriously,” Siemoniak said.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Wednesday that the killing has the hallmarks of a political assassination.

“Everything points to this being a political murder,” Tusk said, adding: “if that was the case — if it was ordered by Russia — then it is an extremely serious matter internationally. It would constitute state terrorism.”

Polish investigators initially detained two Belarusian citizens but released them later, saying they had no evidence that they were directly involved in the killing.

Polish prosecutors said the Russian activist used his art to express criticism of Russian authorities.

He painted unflattering portraits of Putin, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and other high-ranking Russian officials. One depicts Putin being cradled in the arms of the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.

On Sunday, he posted a video on his YouTube channel showing him in Berlin putting a Russian flag in a trash can on June 12, the holiday marking Russia’s sovereignty.

Since it invaded Ukraine in 2022, Russia has been accused of trying to assassinate its opponents abroad, including targeting exiled activists in France and Lithuania.

Officials in Germany have also broken up plots targeting the head of a German weapons supplier to Ukraine and a Ukrainian military official.

Polish authorities arrested a man in 2024 in what they said was a plot to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. That same year, a Russian helicopter pilot who defected was killed in Spain, with Russian operatives as the prime suspects.

Outrage as Patrick Ewing’s retired No. 33 listed for Knick at City Hall

Knicks fans were left outraged on Thursday as City Hall made a bizarre mistake ahead of the team’s championship parade.

Each member of the New York roster had their jersey hung from City Hall — including Dillon Jones, who made just seven appearances for the team this season after signing on a two-way deal in January.

But as The Post’s Jared Schwartz captured, Jones’ uniform number was displayed as No. 33, the retired number of the great Patrick Ewing.

Jones wore No. 1 in his appearances for the Knicks, and No. 2 for the G League Westchester Knicks, but the confusion appears to come from the fact that he’s listed as No. 33 on the Knicks’ roster.

Jones previously wore the number for the Wizards in last year’s preseason before being cut by the team.

Nonetheless, fans were shocked by the mistake.

“Epitome of Knicks parade fail,” one wrote on X.

“TAKE IT DOWN NOW!!!!,” another said.

And a third claimed: “someone’s getting fired.”

While Ewing last suited up for the Knicks in 2000, he was ever-present during the team’s championship run this year, and was in San Antonio as the team clinched the Finals on Saturday in Game 5.

The legendary big man celebrated the team’s first title in 53 years as he held the Larry O’Brien trophy alongside Jalen and Rick Brunson.

Jones, meanwhile, did not suit up during the playoff run, and last saw the court for the Knicks back on April 12 in the regular season.

The 2024 first-round pick also earned a ring with the Oklahoma City Thunder last year, for whom he made 10 appearances for in the postseason.

Supreme Court weakens law used to convict Hunter Biden on gun charges

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court unanimously rejected the prosecution of a Texas man for purchasing a firearm while consuming marijuana Thursday, weakening a federal law used to convict former first son Hunter Biden.

In a unanimous ruling written by Republican-appointed Justice Neil Gorsuch, the high court agreed that the prosecution of Ali Danial Hemani violated his Second Amendment rights.

The court did not address the question of whether addicts who were currently intoxicated could purchase a firearm or whether any person under the influence of marijuana could be deemed too dangerous to posses a gun.

The justices also didn’t outright strike down the law, which was used to prosecute the younger Biden for purchasing a firearm while addicted to cocaine.

“We appreciate that drugs and guns can sometimes make for a dangerous mix,” Gorsuch wrote in the majority opinion.

“…[T]he government cannot carry the burden it has set for itself. We decide cases ‘based on the historical record,’” he added. “And the habitual drunkard laws on which the government relies here differ dramatically from [the statute in question’s] unlawful user provision on every single metric the government invites us to consider.”

Gorsuch ripped into prosecutors for not analyzing whether Hemani’s use of marijuana made him unsuitable to go about armed.

Conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito both penned concurring opinions, with the latter joined by liberal Justice Elena Kagan. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, appointed to the court by then-President Joe Biden, also penned a concurrence backed by fellow liberal Sonia Sotomayor.

‘Elf’ star Faizon Love shares shockingly low income amid child support battle, arrest

Faizon Love did not earn any money last year.

The “Elf” star shared his shockingly low income during his child support battle with Tiffany Lee, according to TMZ.

Not only did the 58-year-old reportedly reveal in court documents earlier this month that he made zero dollars in 2025, but he said his highest annual income in the last five years was $13,000.

Love, at the time, was sharing the numbers as a means of insisting he cannot afford the $250,000 he allegedly owes Wells in child support.

He also blamed his absence at an April hearing regarding the case on a medical emergency.

The judge, however, held Love in contempt of court in May and ordered him to turn himself into jail for 90 days.

Love, a Glendale, California, resident, was arrested in Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday and charged with two counts of contempt of court.

He is being held without bond at the Hillsborough County Jail.

The comedian, notably, is facing a pending felony assault charge in San Diego, California, over a 2024 incident with a hotel clerk.

Love, who has pleaded not guilty to the crime, allegedly hit the staff member in the face with a credit card machine.

“Mr. Love was extremely upset. It was zero to 100 real quick,” the alleged woman said in July 2025 testimony. “He was repeatedly asking if we knew who he was.”

After the preliminary hearing, a judge deemed there was sufficient evidence to proceed to trial.

Back in 2017, Love pleaded no contest to misdemeanor after being filmed attacking a valet at an Ohio airport.

He was fined $500 and sentenced to a 180-day suspended jail sentence at the time.

In addition to “Elf,” Love is best known for roles in “Friday,” “Couples Retreat” and more.

Fans at Knicks parade chant ‘f–k Wemby’ as crowds pour in

Let the parade festivities begin.

Two hours before the start of the Knicks’ ticker-tape championship parade, fans already started the “f–k Wemby” chant.

There was also a doll dressed as the Spurs forward being tossed around the crowd.

Victor Wembenyama became the latest New York villain after he shoved beloved Knicks captain Jalen Brunson in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

It didn’t help that the Frenchman had 32 points with eight rebounds, six assists and three blocks in the Knicks’ only loss of the series on the same night.

The fans then chanted the same “f–k Wemby” line during Game 4 at MSG.

“I guess,” Wembanyama said when asked if he’s being vilified by the Knicks fans. “I’m nowhere near Trae Young-level, though.”

Enormous crowds have already shown up for the parade celebrating the Knicks’ win, with viewing areas already full, per the NYPD.

“It may well be the largest parade in New York City history,” Mayor Zohran Mamdani said.

The parade will feature floats with every member of the championship team, the coaching staff, and past Knicks icons Walt “Clyde” Frazier and Patrick Ewing.

Celebrity row staples such as Ben Stiller are also expected.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m., but folks looking to watch from home or work can tune in on the New York Post Sports YouTube page.
