Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy pooh-poohed the BRS leaders’ claim of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao returning to power asserting that the people realised their false propaganda and will never allow the BRS to come back to power.

He launched a trenchant attack on BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and former Minister T. Harish Rao calling them as ‘little demons’ who are leaving no stone unturned in spreading misinformation about the people-centric Congress government. He took strong objections to their taunts asking him to resign from the post claiming the State is not their fiefdom to make such demands from the government which is elected by the people who were vexed with the hoodwinking of the BRS for 10 years.

The Chief Minister utilised the meeting organised to formally launch crediting of Rythu Bharosa funds into the accounts of 44.28 lakh farmers here on Tuesday. The government released ₹2,482 crore on the first day even as Mr. Revanth Reddy announced that the entire ₹9,000 crore would be credited into the farmers’ accounts within nine days.
