Marking National Doctors’ Day, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) launched three academic and professional initiatives on Wednesday at JSS Hospital in Mysuru.

The programmes will be inaugurated in the presence of Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami of Suttur Mutt.

The first initiative, GIFT (Global Institute for Future Technologies), is aimed at nurturing next generation thinkers, planners, innovators and technocrats capable of addressing emerging national and global challenges through advanced education and research.

The second initiative, JSS AHER EDGE (Executive Development for Growth and Excellence), is a professional training platform designed for healthcare and clinical professionals. It was inaugurated by R. Balasubramaniam, Member of NITI Aayog and Founder of V-LEAD.

The third programme, an executive course on AI in Healthcare, is an executive certification programme intended to equip medical professionals with practical applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

Krishnaraja MLA T.S. Srivatsa presided over the function. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, B. Suresh, Pro-Chancellor, and the Vice-Chancellor of JSS AHER were the guests of honour on the occasion.

Brochures outlining the three initiatives were released during the event.

As part of Doctors’ Day celebration, healthcare professionals were felicitated in recognition of their services.
