Former Miami Hurricanes star Haley Cavinder and Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson agreed on a set of rules in the early stages of planning their beachfront Miami wedding — and “no kids allowed” was on the list.
“I knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking [Cowboys quarterback] Dak Prescott for a picture,” a laughing Ferguson said in a joint interview with GQ.
“I just didn’t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit.”
The pair’s other conditions included a private first look and vows, no slow-dancing, “YMCA,” or “Cha Cha Slide” during the reception and a mini honeymoon in the Bahamas.
Cavinder and Ferguson tied the knot at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, which he said was the perfect venue for a “big party with all our people.”
Hanna Cavinder, her twin sister and former Hurricanes’ teammate, served as maid of honor.
Ferguson’s former Cowboys teammate, quarterback Will Grier, officiated the ceremony.
The 25-year-old influencer — who was a 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit digital cover cover model ¸— wore a custom lace princess gown from the designer Galia Lahav.
Ferguson wore a Bond-esque white dinner jacket tailored by Mitch Purgason of Stitched by Mitch, who has made nearly every suit the two-time Pro Bowler has worn during his four seasons in the NFL, all with Dallas.
There was a ranch dressing fountain at the reception.

“He’s obsessed with ranch,” Cavinder added.
Ferguson, who signed a $52 million contract extension with the Cowboys last offseason, gifted his groomsmen custom golf putters and Rolexes.

Cavinder and Ferguson first connected over social media and had their first date in Miami.
They got engaged in April 2025.
