Police have intensified efforts to trace the two-year-old girl, Sunkara Gnaneswari who has been missing since June 6, from her village of Ch. Agraharam in Tuni rural mandal in Kakinada district.
On Tuesday, the Peddapuram Divisional police distributed pamphlets to the public, seeking any clues and information about the missing child. The police have also offered a reward of ₹1 lakh to anyone providing credible information that can help trace the girl.

Meanwhile, search operations continue in the forest areas surrounding the girl’s village by the forest and police departments.
It may be recalled that Ms. Gnaneswari and her pet dog had been missing since June 6. While the dog returned home on June 9, there has been no clue about the girl’s whereabouts. The pet dog later reportedly died due to starvation on June 13.
