World Cup fever has swept the United States these past few weeks.
Yet, in the days leading up to the USMNT’s round of 32 match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2026 World Cup’s round of 32 knockout stage at San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium on Wednesday, July 1, ticket prices have dropped precipitously.
When our team reported on how much the cheapest seats cost to get in just three days ago, they started at $1,959 including fees on SeatGeek.
Now, just a little over 72 hours later, ticket prices can be scooped up for as low as $1,479 including fees.
In the event you don’t have a calculator on hand, that’s a cool $480 (!) in savings just for being patient.
Better yet, 100-level seats have gone from $3,117 including fees to $1,780.
Throw in the fact that if you use promo code NYPOST10, you’ll save an additional $10 and you have a true steal of a deal (Editor’s Note: this discount is only valid for users’ first purchase on SeatGeek).
Plus, as an added bonus, should you attend, you’ll certainly witness a monumental event for either squad.
According to The Post, “this will be the USMNT’s best chance to win a knockout game at the World Cup since [they] beat Mexico to make the quarterfinals back in 2002, which still stands as [the club’s] last win in the knockout stage 24 years later.”
As for Bosnia and Herzegovina, they’re riding their best-ever World Cup run. Prior to this year, Edin Džeko’s team had never advanced to the knockout stage of the tournament.
“It was an incredible atmosphere,” super-fan Damir Cato told The Post after attending the Bosnia-Switzerland match at SoFi Stadium. “You could tell it meant a lot to see those players take the field to play for their country.”
Oddsmakers list the Stars and Stripes as heavy -250 favorites going into this showdown but if we’ve learned anything from the World Cup, it’s that anything can happen.
Don’t miss this one- you’re guaranteed to witness history.
