The Election Commission of India’s Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls began in the city on Thursday, June 25, with house-to-house distribution of the enumeration forms by the Booth Level Officers.
District Election Officer and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner R.V. Karnan along with Zonal Commissioner B. Santhosh inspected the distribution of forms at Gyani Zail Singh Nagar at Film Nagar in Jubilee Hills Constituency and issues directions to the Electoral Registration Officers, and other election staff.
Form distribution also began in all polling stations of Secunderabad, Ameerpet, Charminar, Chandrayangutta, and other locations. The process is being carried out by BLOs in coordination with the Booth Level Agents appointed by the political parties, under the supervision of BLO supervisors, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, and Electoral Registration Officers, a statement from the GHMC informed.
The BLOs would visit each house at least thrice during the distribution and collection phase which will continue up to July 24. The enumeration forms need to be filled up by the electors with assistance by BLOs if needed.

The voters will have to find their names in the electoral rolls updated in the 2002 SIR, and mention the same in the forms. If they are unable to do so, they will be summoned by the ERO, to produce any of the 12 listed documents as proof of their citizenship.
People can search for their name in the voter list using EPIC number, through Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Telangana website (https://ceotelangana.nic.in/). It also has a feature for electors to know the details of their Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), AERO and BLO. The electoral roll of SIR-2002 too can be accessed.
“If a house is locked, the Enumeration Form will be placed at the doorstep. Collection of duly filled Enumeration Forms will begin after one week. Please note that no documents will be collected during this phase of the exercise,” as per a post from the Hyderabad DEO’s handle on X.
The Enumeration Forms are also available online at ECI’s website (https://voters.eci.gov.in/)
