A teenager gunned down two people and injured a juvenile in a horrific library shooting in Northern California late Monday.

Police received reports of an active shooter at a Butte County library just past 5 p.m., and rushed to the scene after hearing a 911 call filled with screams and gunfire.

Officials arrived and nabbed the shooter, 18-year-old Chico resident Bradley Scott Sayer, after he tried to leave out of the back door. ABC 10
Cops said he did not appear to know his victims and was motivated to commit a “Columbine High School massacre type of shooting.” ABC 10

Officials arrived and nabbed the shooter, 18-year-old Chico resident Bradley Scott Sayer, after he tried to leave out of the back door.

“The incident tonight was obviously very sad and very traumatic for a lot of people — very traumatic for our community,” Chief Billy Aldridge of the Chico Police Department said during a news conference on Monday night.

Cops said he did not appear to know his victims and was motivated to commit a “Columbine High School massacre type of shooting.”
