The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) staged a Chalo Lok Bhavan sit-in on Monday demanding justice for students affected by the NEET paper leak, compensation and justice for the families of students who allegedly died by suicide, and the resignation of Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him morally responsible for the controversy.

The leaders condemned the alleged midnight arrests of several student activists across the State ahead of the protest, and called the police action undemocratic. The leaders accused the BJP-led government of failing to prevent repeated examination irregularities, including NEET and other entrance exams.
SFI also announced Statewide protests, including the burning of government effigies, against the arrests and the handling of the NEET issue.
